I started Consider it Done! and Desserts by Design to help busy people like you take care of the important affairs in your personal life and not worry about the cooking and the details. I've always had a passion for cooking and decided to step it up by studying pastry techniques in Chicago's French Pastry School and the Wilton School of Cake Design. I've had the privilege of studying under pastry master chefs Collette Peters, Mark Seman, and Nicolas Lodge – all of whom have been featured on the food network.

We've combined two businesses under one roof and in one kitchen – full-service catering and a bakery specializing in wedding cakes and special recipe baked goods. We're local, if you live in the Grand Haven area and located in a newly renovated victorian-style home at 320 Columbus in Grand Haven, Michigan.

Food should be both nutritious and appealing to our sense of taste, smell, and sight, and I believe in using locally grown fresh ingredients whenever possible in my menus. Additionally, we make every cake, cupcake, and cookie the old-fashioned way – from scratch. Even my frostings and fillings are make with only the freshest ingredients: real butter, cream, eggs, natural flavoring, and fresh fruit.

Whether you're planning your family's meals for a week or a company party, a birthday celebration, graduation, or wedding, we will make sure that the menu fits both your taste and the occasion – and that everything is deliciously and beautifully prepared.
