Ellen's Advice on How to Simplify Entertaining |
Entertaining in style doesn't mean a hostess (or host) can't take a few short cuts to make preparations just a little easier.
A few tips from Ellen:
1. Satisfy your guest's appetites between meals, order a selection of savory hors d'oeuvres. Serve them up with a few store bought items that store well. Suggestions for a well-stocked holiday pantry: dried fruit, mixed nuts, your favorite crackers and cheese, tapenade, italian salami, and assorted olives.
2. For the grand finale, dazzle your guests with a scrumptious and beautiful dessert that is  extraordinary.
